1) Send the following message to everyone in your address book:

Hi Everybody! I will be at (place) on (date) to hear the lyric-driven piano pop of my friends the Grace Woods Trio. They put on a great show. You can check them out at gracewoodstrio.com. Let me know if you can make it!

2) Click on these links to download and print posters and post cards for upcoming shows. This is the hardest task for the band and the most appreciated. The files are designed so you can input the specifics. Try printing them on card stock recycled paper and posting them on public bulletin boards, at schools, or leaving on counters in community-event-friendly establishments near the show being promoted. Do you have a friend who owns a boutique or restaurant in the area? Ask to tape an 8.5 by 11 inside their window because these get taken down the least!

3) Pass out CDs of 1 or 2 GWT songs outside venues or at the next party you go to. Put a sticker on them or write in sharpie gracewoodstrio.com and the date and place of the next show. Or e-mail one mp3 to your whole e-mail address book. We encourage the type of sharing that garners support and invites more people to events!

4) Request us on KFOG 104.5FM by calling 1-800-300-KFOG (5364) or e-mailing kfog@kfog.com. Try requesting the song “Rising Tear” on a Sunday morning “Acoustic Sunrise” show.

5) Wear your GWT T-Shirt everywhere and buy one as a gift for a friend who you brought to a show.

6) Write to your local newspaper editor (google the paper’s name and phone and ask for the music editor). Or write your local winery, club, or university student activities office.

7) Throw a house concert. This is an event in your living room or yard. You invite your friends to come for a potluck or whatever you want and hear GWT live!

8) Offer your home for Grace to sleep at when she tours through your area. A tour is in the works and Grace will only be able to travel to where there are friends to stay with. Could you provide a couch for her when she tours solo? Or do you have a larger space for when the Trio gets a chance to travel? Let her know by e-mailing her.

9) Donate a GWT house concert to a charity auction. E-mail Grace about this.

10) Donate money toward the making of the next album and the financing of the tour. Most people don’t know that GWT never actually gets paid. Every paycheck the band earns goes into the band fund to finance the next tour, the next album, merchandise, rehearsal space, webhosting and you-name-it. This means Joe, Whitney and Grace are doing this for love and the power of music. 11) Make jewelery out of the GWT Ninja Star Logo and wear it or give it to friends. Or give it to the band for selling at shows.
